Workshops and Seminars

Whether you’d like to broaden your knowledge around budgeting, improve your computer skills, or learn tips that may help with your job search, there is a workshop for you. Our workshops, led by PA CareerLink® instructors, are designed to bring you the best experience possible, include opportunities to ask questions and have discussions with other job seekers, and are always available at no cost to you. If you’re not sure about what workshop to attend, our staff can help guide you to what would be the best fit for you. Your “workshop schedule” will be tailored towards your individual needs, helping to enhance your skills and knowledge while making you more career ready.

Workshops

Some workshops will be led by outside experts that we invite to lead discussions and training on special topics. These experts are often in charge of hiring with local companies, so participation in the workshops can be a great opportunity for you to make a lasting first impression and expand your network. Unable to attend in person? Workshops offered virtually give you a unique opportunity to practice navigation of virtual software that employers may require as part of their interview process, such as Zoom.

We welcome you to attend as many workshops as you’d like! Workshops are open to the public with a simple enrollment process that our staff would be happy to assist you with as needed.

If you are also registered in one of our PA CareerLink® programs offering individualized services, staff are available to follow-up with you after workshops to help you build on what you’ve learned and apply new skills and insights to your goal planning and action steps!
